Description
This character is from Maurel’s Pastoral Play. He is thought to be the Brigand’s son. At the end of the play, when everyone is gathered around the manger, the brigand admits to having stolen Chicoulet, from the old blind man, as a child. The old man has been grieving ever since. Once they reach the stable and he sees Jesus, the old man gains his sight. Looking around he sees his missing son, Chicoulet. He forgives the brigand, giving the story a happy ending.
