Description
The provencale ‘garrigues’ – ‘scrublands’ – have always been excellent hunting grounds. The young hunter is a picturesque figure. He spins many yarns and boasts of his exploits, which he hasn’t really accomplished! He holds his gun in one hand and a rabbit in the other. His game bag is slung over his shoulder. He wears a broad brimmed hat and large boots.
